More denziens of Mattblackgods world

Hello and Welcome Back,

I felt like a break from painting Sci Fi figures. After rummaging through the primed figures box and dug out a few figures by Ramshackle games, awaiting the brush.

Sadly, slavery will be a problem in the Post Apocalyptic world. Mental warlords will always want people to work fields, brothels, mines and factories (other places of labour are available) without reward for their labours.

These poor slaves are by Ramshackle Games. They have sat primed for years. I expect to use them as objectives in games. Not everyone agrees with slavery or slave traders in the Wastelands.

Nax the mutant. This poor creature lurks around the edges of the Strontium Swamp lands, trying to lure travellers into his ambush by using a small childs stuffed toy.

The mutant is a 15mm scale Giant Troll from the Sprue Goblin Games line carried by Ramshackle Games.

The Captain....also known as "Wilf". Captain Wilf is a feared character in the Strontium Swamps. He is viewed as an authority figure and the swamp mutants often approach him with thier disputes and problems. During raids on the Swamps, the Captain organises the defense and counter assault.

The Captain figure is from the Boglanders range by Ramshackle Games.

The missing Boglander

Hello and Welcome Back,

Some time ago, Curtis from Ramshackle Games, kindly gifted me a set of his upcoming Boglanders kickstarter. 

I assembled them and got them painted. It was only later that I realised, there was one missing. After priming the figure vanished. Recently I found the figure in the un painted box. You can escape Wyrmface, but you can't hide! 

So the little guy got a quick paint job so he can join his comrades in the Strontium Swamps of Mattblackgod’s world.

The other Boglanders. I suppose I should try and get the Boglanders Kickstarter set painted up at some point. Yeah, I know. I say that about every figure in the unpainted pile.

The Boglanders of the Strontium Swamps

Hello and Welcome Back. 

Out in the Radioactive Strontium Swamps of Mattblackgod’s world lives a bunch of mutants called the Boglanders. 

The Boglanders are armed with a variety of firearms looted from a old part flooded military bunker found in the centre of the Strontium Swamps.

Some Boglanders carry old black powder weapons, loving the simplicity, noise and smoke these weapons make. 

The Strontium Swamps are so contaminated even the frogs are massively mutated. They are kept as both a food source and pets by the Boglanders. 

Hmmm what every Boglander needs for lunch, a bucket of nutritious worms. There is plenty of worms in the Swamps some of them are pretty huge. 

The Boglander figures are by Ramshackle games but haven't been released yet, they have been through a recent Kickstarter. Curtis kindly sent me a set with a recent order. I was going to try and get the figures and blog post up to help generate interest in the Kickstarter. Sadly things got away from me. Naturally I had to back the Kickstarter as this little mob needs reinforcements. 

The Boglander figures are a reimagining of the more classic goblin descriptions from myths and fairytale rather than the more popular modern goblin image that looks like a green skinned, big nosed malicious wing nut.
